Andrew grew up in South Africa where he was first exposed to the African bush. He developed a deep love for its natural beauty and resolved to actively fight for it, and contribute to its protection. He qualified as a lawyer in South Africa specialising in commercial litigation, but in his spare time assisted various anti-poaching units in private game reserves with the legalities surrounding arresting poachers. He moved to the UK with his wife in April 2022 and now works as a corporate in-house lawyer. He was made aware of Helping Rhinos via its social media presence and hopes that his legal knowledge and understanding of the situation on the ground surrounding rhino conservation in South Africa will assist Helping Rhinos achieve its goals and will allow him to continue pursuing his passion - the preservation of rhino.
