why we need your support

Simply put, we love rhinos. Our aim is to help the species survive at sustainable levels in their natural habitat. Rhinos in some form or other have been on the planet for 50 million years, evolved into their current form throughout that time as the environment and habitat changed.

They now face their biggest challenge as man restricts their natural habitat and kills them for their horn. They are perhaps symbolic of a struggle between man and the natural world. We aim to help the species, this means that we favour projects that support the development of sustainable populations.

how we are helping rhinos

We work with a small number of partners, predominantly in Africa, who meet some or all of the following criteria, they:

  • Preserve or develop new habitat for rhinos and other species
  • Protect rhinos from poaching
  • Provide information and education on the importance of sustaining the rhino population to local communities and broader populations
  • Help sustain the species via other sustainable and scalable projects

Our Work

Thank you!

Thank you for choosing to support Helping Rhinos and our work to protect rhinos in their natural habitat.

Our work is only possible with the generous donations of our valued supporters. We appreciate every gift and promise that we will use every donation where the need is greatest.

Helping Rhinos works closely with passionate and dedicated partners, both internationally and on the ground, in the heart of rhino habitats. Your donations directly contribute to these projects to care for orphaned rhinos, support anti-poaching patrols with the Black Mambas and help the monitoring and growth of black and white rhino populations, which together provide a sustainable future for all species of rhino.
