NUMBER 1: RHINO ADOPTION – THE THOUGHTFUL GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING 

Giving a rhino adoption is a perfect example of thoughtful gifting and none more so than during the festive season. All too often we end up with things we don’t necessarily need or things that don’t last. This is why rhino adoptions and ranger sponsorships make lasting gifts for friends and family. When you gift a rhino adoption, you are giving them a meaningful present that crucially helps protect these magnificent creatures.

Adopt a rhino orphan – Help support the orphans at the Zululand Rhino Orphanage. 

Gifting a rhino orphan adoption as a gift this festive season couldn’t be more timely. Due to an increased spike in poaching in the Kwa Zulu Natal province this year, the Zululand Rhino Orphanage has gained 5 new orphans in just six months. These young orphans still need a lot of care and attention until they can be rewilded in the future, and an adoption goes a long way towards their safety and security. 

Adopt a Northern White Rhino 

Najin and Fatu are the last two northern white rhinos left on earth and need 24-hour protection. Your northern white rhino adoption gift will go a long way towards supporting this as well as helping to fund the northern white rhino IVF programme.

Adopt Thandi and her family 

Poaching survivor Thandi has had four healthy calves: Thembi, Colin, Mthetho (you can adopt Mthetho outright) and baby Siya, (born in January 2021). When you adopt Thandi and her family, funds raised are used to support the community projects and the work of the Kariega Game Reserve anti-poaching unit to protect this precious, and growing, family.

The original painting sold for an amazing £18,000 in auction at a Helping Rhinos event, raising funds for Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya.
