Sarah Cobden-Ramsay visited the Kariega Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, and it was a trip that would change her life! Sarah had the opportunity to meet rhino poaching survivor Thandi and her calf Thembi. Sarah knew she wanted to do something to help, but didn't know what she could possibly offer!
Enter Sarah's Ranger, Daniel. Daniel chatted to Sarah to find out more about her life, and discovered that Sarah is a talented maker of jewellery. After some further conversation, Sarah was inspired to return home to the UK and create the Rhino Tears line of jewellery.
Rhino Tears has proven to be very popular, and with Sarah donating all the profits back into conservation, it is jewellery with a conscience! We are delighted that Sarah has chose Helping Rhinos as one of her beneficiaries. Our belief is that this model of sustainabale businesses supporting conservation is the way forward, and we are delighted to be working with Sarah.
