world rhino day
SUNDAY 22nd SEPTEMBER
Restricted numbers, so don't miss out, registration essential
'FREEDOM TO ROAM RHINO RIDES' have been launched by Helping Rhinos to increase awareness of the plight of rhinos in the wild, and to offer a great day out to cyclists who also enjoy the 'freedom to roam' around the countryside.
The first such named ride will take place on World Rhino Day, Sunday 22nd September, leaving and returning to Musette coffee shop, Aldbury, Hertfordshire, right in the heart of the Chiltern Hills.
This inaugural ride offers two distances. 80kms, start at 9am and a 30kms at 10am. The coffee and excellent refreshments will rival any in Hertfordshire; the genuine welcome and company is second to none. Phil Liggett, Patron of Helping Rhinos, but probably better known for his over 40 years of Tours de France commentary for ITV, will be there, riding and then chatting with everyone post ride.
Entry is free. But places are restricted, and entry is required. The day will include a raffle with several amazing prizes up for grabs, including a fabulous Helping Rhinos cycle jersey. To celebrate World Rhino Day and our first Freedom to Roam Rhino Ride, all rider will have the opportunity to purchase a jersey at a discounted price. How wonderful it would be see everyone in our colourful green and black jerseys out on the road.
You can order a jersey from CONDOR CYCLES. We will also have some jerseys available on the day.To secure place at this very special rise, please register here
