This stunning painting by Ugandan born Karen Laurence Rowe, who spent her childhood years in Tanzania and most of her working life in Kenya, with a short stint in South Africa. Sudan, as he was known, was the last male northern white rhino left on earth until he passed away of age related conditions in March 2018. Karen has immortalised Sudan in this watercolour that is available in an open edition print.
