About the book:

‘Last’ tells the story of one rhino, who is captured by poachers and put in a city zoo. He misses his home in the wild and his mother and fears he may be the very last of his kind.  But little does he know that hope is not lost, someone is coming to help him, to free him and reunite him with his kind.

Inspired by the true story of Sudan, the last male northern white rhino, who died of natural causes in March 2018, ‘Last’ imagines how any of us would feel if we believed we were the last of our kind. Beautifully illustrated and emotively told it is a touching and thought-provoking children’s book that will impact people of all ages.

The cleverly crafted illustrations tell the reader so much about the impact of being the last animal in a species, of how it would feel, and what the world does or does not do to support endangered species.

The book is available to buy here and will make a fabulous gift. Make sure you order your copy TODAY.  Sales of ‘Last' supports the work of Helping Rhinos and the ongoing fight to ensure that no other rhino species is the last of their kind.
