Helping Rhinos are thrilled to have been chosen by UK’s biggest online match funding campaign, the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2017, to help double our support for rhino protection in Kenya. The Christmas Challenge runs from midday on 28^th November until midday on the 5^th December and we ask you please to donate as much as you can, as soon as you can to ensure your gift is matched and doubled. On November 28th Helping Rhinos is also taking part in USA’s #GivingTuesday. Any gift you give via our Facebook Fundraiser will be matched by Facebook up to $1,000 per donation!

But hurry! Starting at 8:00 am Eastern time (12:00pm GMT) your donation will only be doubled until a total of $2,000,000 is matched Facebook-wide. The matching funds will go fast so, set your alarm and give as close to 8:00 am Eastern Time (5:00 am Pacific Time) as possible to maximize our chances for support for rhinos!

What it means for Rhinos

Donations received during the Big Give Christmas Challenge and #GivingTuesday will help us raise critical funds to:
 

• Increase the K9 Anti-Poaching Dog Patrol Unit at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya to 20 tracker dogs and handlers, to protect their black rhino population and the last three remaining Northern White Rhinos

• Engage directly with students across the United States (believed to be the third largest consuming nation of rhino horn) to empower them as agents of change for reducing demand for rhino horn in the U.S. with their family members and their communities!
