HELPING RHINOS HERTFORDSHIRE HUNDRED
SUNDAY 27TH AUGUST 2017
What an idyllic day it was – full sun and not too hot – 28 degrees C.
Perfect weather to take on the challenge of a short, medium or long route around the Hertfodshire countryside.
400 or so riders took to the leafy lanes, and had nothing but praise for the event organisation and the day itself.
Some very tired legs took advantage of Helping Rhinos stand – we were serving excellent coffee, tea, home made muffins and all for a donation.
Hugely successful for us as well as the riders, huge thanks to everyone who took part, came to support us, bought jerseys, raffle tickets and gave us a donation.
At first count we took well over £800.00, there is still more income to add in.
So, cyclists amongst our readers, don’t miss out next year (2018), the event will be in its sixth year held once more on August Bank Holiday Sunday.
Why not check our website for other events you can take part in, and take a look at Sportiveuk.co.uk website to check out their other cycling events.
Thanks to everyone involved.
Trish and Phil Liggett, our helpers, Duncan Julie and Jess, and of course Sportive organisers Jeremy and Luke. A big thank you to all from Helping Rhinos.
